Caitlin Bolton is a young writer based in London. Currently working towards her BA (Hons) in English Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Westminster. Her poetry, theatre scripts, and short stories led her to receive a Student Excellence Award for achieving some of the highest grades in the college of Liberal Arts and Sciences during the 2023-24 academic year. As she tackles new genres such as scriptwriting and novel writing, she consistently achieves top marks for her creative works.
Most recently, she is the playwright of Strings Unravelling, a mystery-drama play in two acts, which she produced during the summer of 2024 with her co-founded theatre company Fabricate Entertainment. The play, which engages with themes of mysticism in its interrogation of how we deal with grief and personal loss, was performed to an almost sold-out four night run to the London fringe scene. She appeared in The Manic Magazine as a lifestyle journalist, covering culture, fashion, and entertainment for its contemporary audience.
Building her portfolio and seeking experience, she enjoys working across genres. Writing poetry, scripts for stage and screen, prose fiction, lifestyle articles and culture essays, she takes the initiative to embark on new projects.
